We are very proud of the efforts of all our staff who have worked so hard to maintain high standards of care, education and therapeutic support for our boys, whilst keeping everyone as safe as possible during the Covid-19 crisis.

We are equally in awe of the resilience of the boys who have managed their enforced semi-isolation in a very positive way.

We adopted a ‘bubble’ approach to lockdown from the start but although we’ve had to keep the residents and staff in each home separate from those in other houses, we’ve managed to keep a sense of community through online meetings and less formal quizzes and ‘get-togethers.’ Teaching and therapy meetings have continued throughout, thanks to everyone’s patience with the limitations of video conferencing technology.

 Well done, everyone!
