We have been successfully using an updated version of this tool (revised to improve validity and ease of administration) in our practice for a number of years now to assist in our clinical assessment and to evaluate treatment.

We want to give other professionals the chance to benefit from our experience by providing access to the tool and to contribute to further development of the measure.

The questionnaire was designed for use with young people aged 12-17 years with intellectual disability. We have also found it to be helpful in identifying areas of strength and need in relation to sexual knowledge in young adults with intellectual disability; those on the autistic spectrum; and children below the age of 15yrs more generally*.

If you or your team are interested in using the ASKA questionnaire please complete the form below so we can verify you or your organisation and provide you with the information outlining the terms of use.
